The Love for Lewiston Foundation was born of a position that Jessica and her hubby Hot Ronnie embraced to spend their son Lewiston’s first birthday not as a pity party, but a dance party. They wanted to  celebrate  his short but influential life and the life lessons he taught them. Lewiston’s legacy is meant to be spread around the world.  Community surround them in their darkest moments and they encountered so much light and strength in sharing their story of Lewiston’s fight for his life as the disease of Spinal Muscular Atrophy robbed his body of long life. He passed just shy of his 6 month birthday in 2016. To continue with that momentum they wanted to keep spreading joy and love to others like it was so generously offered to them.

To date they have raised over $700,000 in just 3 short years. The funds raised have helped with medical needs such as wheelchairs, accessible vehicles and scholarships,  furthered critical research across Canada, and invested in Alberta Children’s Hospital and Rotary Flames Hospice where Lewiston passed away. This year marks the MILLION DOLLAR YEAR! We want YOU to BE PART OF THE MILLION! Follow along on instagram and foundations website for all the details and events to make this happen and change the face of SMA.

We believe to the core that Lewiston’s message of “squeezing a little tighter, loving a little deeper and dancing a little longer”, is meant to be extended to the world.
