Ronnie and I met working for a food company (a smoothie company to be exact). We worked together for over 5 years before I changed careers. We are both passionate about healthy eating and making good decisions for our body. Breakfast has always been important to me, as it helps me focus and kickstart my day. I also love my morning coffee, but more for the ritual than for anything else. For a quick breakfast, we make our go-to green smoothie. It is perfect for the mornings we are racing out the door! Hello, mom life! The recipe is below, and I hope you love it as much as I do. It’s also a great way to use up any greens you have in the fridge that are close to going bad. Freeze them and use them the next day in your blended beverage!
Quick Easy Recipe for our GO TO GREEN SMOOTHIE:
- 2 Cups Spinach or Kale
- 1 Cup Frozen Mango
- 1 Cup Frozen Pineapple
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
- 1 Cup of Juice Because Green Juice or Coconut Water (more liquid if you like it runny)
- Add any supplements – our go-to is the Gut Lab (always read and check labels and consult a medical professional to see if they are right for you)
